This year, KSAALT TESOL is celebrating 10 years of offering professional development for language teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with our 10th Annual Conference.

Our conference theme reflects our past while we look forward to our future — KSAALT TESOL@10: A Decade of Excellence and Innovation.

We are pleased to announce this event as our first 2-day conference. We are hosting a special Friday afternoon welcome celebration for all. This gives us the tremendous opportunity to host more plenary speakers. The conference will take place, starting on Friday May 5, 2017  4:30–7:30 p.m.  and continue on Saturday May 6, 2017  8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Pearson, Cambridge, Oxford University Press, and National Geographic Learning publishers will join us for publisher’s showcase workshops.  Their representatives will be presenting workshops on various pedagogical topics as well.

IELTS Training and TOEFL Training: 

27 conference participants may sign up for TOEFL training sponsored by ETS.

The IELTS training sponsored by IDP is full. Please see the attached documents for the TOEFL registration form.  Participation is limited to 30 for each event, first come, first serve.  Please note that these training sessions will occur at the same time as many of our guest speakers’ presentations so you cannot attend both.

Here are the official fees for the conference and membership packages:

Payments can be made at any of the general meetings in all designated KSAALT TESOL chapters  (Abha, Jeddah, Khobar, Jizan, Riyadh, and Yanbu).

PLEASE NOTE: If you have already registered and bought your conference ticket you will gain automatic admission on presentation of your receipt, or you will be able to register and pay for the conference, both dates, on Friday at the door.

Only guests staying at the hotel will have free transportation provided to and from Interserve Learning and Employment Group College. This offer does not include to and from the airport.
